FAQ

We've been asked a myriad of questions over the years, so in an effort to save repeating ourselves, this page includes those which we most often come across. Questions have been divided into three categories. "General", which covers any common questions, "Sales" for pre-loved motorcycles, & "Popular Topics" for the most frequently asked questions of all. If you're still left wanting, then you can submit a question of your own using the form below, or you can contact us by phone, email or through our social media pages, using the buttons below.

Frequently Asked Questions

It's quite easy to find our premises. If you are approaching from Harleston town centre, follow the one way system through Church Street until you join London Road. Continue along this road, towards Needham, for a few hundred yards. On your right you will see a factory shop outlet and a fuel station. Turn right into the driveway between these two buildings and continue around to the rear of the outlet. Our premises are situated in the far corner of the courtyard . If you are approaching from Needham Road, continue towards Harleston town centre and turn left immediately after the fuel station, then continue as explained above. We've included a map on our Contact page, to help you find us. Finally, if you do get lost, don't be afraid to call us for further directions!
That all depends on what you need! We cover everything that most motorcyclists require and more besides. We can perform routine maintenance, be it a minor or a major service, repair any damage to your motorcycle (depending on it's severity), replace or source parts as necessary, install and fit accessories, prepare your machine for the track, customise, restore or rebuild it, or we can either find you your next motorcycle, or buy your own one from you. There's not much we can't tackle, but if you are still in any doubt, then please get in touch. We are here to help.
This varies accordingly. Ordinarily, if we are carrying out a routine basic service, normally this can be completed the same working day, unless we have to order in any parts or your particular job was allocated to begin late in the day. A major service, by it's very nature requires more time and a lot depends on what work is required. In general, providing the machine is booked in for an early start, we would normally aim to complete the task by the close of business. As always, if we come across any complications or unearth any problems/faults with your machine, we will advise you as to the costs and extra time involved.
We are open from Tuesday through to Saturday. Our business hours are 9am until 5.30pm. We are closed on Sundays, Mondays and public holidays. If you wish to contact us outside of business hours, you can send us an email or leave us a message using our social media pages. We will respond as soon as possible, once business resumes.
We accept cash as well as most major debit or credit cards. In the case of card payments, we can also offer "Cardholder Not Present" payments over the phone, using your card details. This is particularly useful if you are unable to visit our premises and wish to pay for goods and services. Please note that bankers drafts or personal cheques, are only acceptable by prior arrangement.
Yes we can. The only limitation is your budget! If you are looking to restore your motorcycle, we can take care of the whole process from start to finish. Whether you simply want it brought back into working order or you'd like to go the whole hog and have it restored back to it's original showroom condition, we will ensure it leaves our premises in considerably better shape than when it arrived! If you require a rebuild, we can cater for the entire machine or we can strip and rebuild sub-assemblies such as your engine, brakes or suspension, renovating, fabricating or sourcing and replacing parts as necessary. In the first instance, please call us to discuss your requirements.
If your motorcycle is due a MAJOR service, unless otherwise stated (through an active sales offer or a promotion), we can collect and deliver your machine for a small fee (£25.00), up to and including a 20 mile radius from our premises. The dates on which we can collect or deliver your motorcycle, are dependant on the availability of our van, which may be committed to another one of our customers, or performing other tasks. Taking this into account, if you have a particular date in mind, we recommend you call us to check what dates are available and make a booking. Please note that if you are located beyond the geographical boundary stated above, please get in touch, as we may be able to offer you further options.
Strictly speaking no. However if your machine has broken down and assuming you do not require immediate recovery, if you get in touch with us at your earliest convenience, we can arrange a suitable date and time to collect your motorcycle, to effect any repairs here at our premises. You can either collect the machine yourself, once the work has been completed, or we can deliver it back to you. Note that we cannot recover or return any motorcycles beyond a 20 mile radius from Harleston. If your machine is stranded outside of this geographical limit, please call us for further options. A fixed recovery/delivery fee of £85.00 will be added to your final bill, to cover our costs.
Aside from routine service parts, most of which we generally carry in stock, we can obtain almost anything you require in terms of goods and accessories. For example Lightech or Rizoma rearsets and items within their extensive range of billet aluminium components, are a popular request. We are also official stockists of the Putoline range of oils and lubricants as well as an official dealer for LeoVince exhausts. In addition we also provide a VentureShield fitting service, to protect your motorycle's paintwork against harmful stone chips and debris. Whatever you need, let us know and we will do the rest.
Yes we can. Whilst we specialise in Italian motorcycles, we are able to service and repair any make and model of motorcycle. Some of those we regularly work on include Buell, BMW, KTM, Triumph, Yamaha and more besides.
Providing you are over 21 years of age, are a UK resident and hold a full motorcycle licence, yes you can. You will be required to supply your driving licence and passport, which we will retain for the duration of your test ride. Additionally, you will be required to leave a security deposit (card payments are acceptable), to cover any excess charges that may be levied, following any accidental damage sustained during your test ride. This deposit will be refunded, and your documents returned back to you, following safe return of the motorycle.
Pre-Loved motorcycles are second hand machines, that we carefully source and check thoroughly for their overall health and condition. Each machine is serviced accordingly by us and is supplied with a valid MOT and all the necessary keys and documentation, prior to being advertised for sale. We only sell what we would consider as suitable to buy, were it our own money we were spending.
Unfortunately no we don't. We simply don't have the space to accommodate such additional stock within our premises, but we can offer you a favourable price for your machine, as an alternative solution, subject to it's age and condition.
If we do not have the particular model in stock you are after, please provide us with some details of your desired make/model and budget. Our stock changes constantly so we might have something coming in that would suit your needs, or be able to source a machine for you.
We are always on the look out for well maintained, clean, tidy, fair-mileage motorcycles. If you have a machine you wish to sell or are looking to trade it in against the purchase of another, please call us or send us an email (including any pertinent details and images), so that we can progress things for you. We would need to see the machine in person, before we could offer you a final price and our decision, so if you are in the area, we recommend you drop by our premises, so we can inspect your machine and take it from there.
If you wish to view our current stock, please visit our Sales page, where you will see a live listing of all the machines on our Ebay store. We advertise all of our motorycles exclusively through Ebay, however if you wish to purchase a machine, we strongly recommend you visit our premises to arrange a test ride and to view all of our stock in person.
