History
Carl Harrison Motorcycle Services was founded in 2001, by Carl Harrison, the owner and proprietor of the firm. It quickly established itself in the small town of Harleston in Norfolk and began trading that same year. Our company has seen many changes over time and has kept in step with both established and new technology, which has afforded us an enviable record in the range of motorcycles and models we have experience with and can cater for.
The Growing Years
As time has moved on, we have gradually built up our reputation, not just within the local area, but throughout the UK and internationally, by offering a professional and efficient service to our customers. It is the knowledge we have of the various marques we deal with, that attracts people to us and as an awareness of our company has grown, so have we, to accommodate the increasing demand. Specialising in Italian motorcycles is a niche market, but with an ever expanding client base, we began to cater for a diverse range of machines, such as Buell, BMW, Harley Davidson, Honda, Kawasaki, KTM, Suzuki, Triumph & Yamaha, as well as Italian machinery. This has allowed us to attract a host of new customers, many of whom have become regular clients.
Who We Are
As a small, friendly and personal business, we prefer to keep things that way. Whilst we are a tight-knit team, we are an incredibly effective one. It allows us to develop a much closer working relationship with our customers, on a one-to-one basis. Though we may not know much about you as an individual, we feel you should know something about us and the skills we have to offer.

(Carl Harrison - Owner & Proprietor) Carl's reputation in the industry is verging on legendary. His experience is vast, having prepared, repaired, tuned and serviced literally hundreds of road going and race-based motorcycles over the last 30 years. However it is Carl's extensive knowledge of Ducatis, as well as other Italian marques such as Aprilia, Benelli, Bimota, Laverda, Moto Guzzi, MV Agusta and many others, that is his greatest asset. Just one of the reasons why so many of our customers entrust his company to look after their pride and joy. |

(Ian Ralph - Technician) Ian joined us in 2017, having run a successful business of his own for several years. A hardworking and versatile individual, Ian can turn his hand to most tasks, be it routine servicing, MOT and sales preparation, tyre fitting and balancing, motorcycle collection/deliveries and more besides. He is a much needed member of our team, when the pressure is on and it's all hands on deck. |

(Chris Newson - Technician) Chris works for us on a part-time basis, whenever he is free from his other career commitments within the offshore industry. Whilst owning a Ducati of his own, he has rapidly mastered several new skills, working on a number of other makes & models during his time with us and assists us on several of the more time consuming jobs we often face, such as engine rebuilds, resolving electronic issues (fault diagnosis) and motorcycle restorations. We always welcome a helping hand and he is a valuable asset, especially during our busier periods, when there never seem to be enough hours in the day! |
